I love this! So informative!

Root Chakra – Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded. It’s located at the base of spine in tailbone area. Here is where the survival issues relating to financial independence, money, and food emotions lay.

Sacral Chakra – Is our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences. It’s located in the lower abdomen, about 2 inches below the navel and 2 inches in. Here is where your sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure, sexuality, and emotions lay.

Solar Plexus Chakra – Is our ability to be confident and in-control of our lives. It’s located in the upper abdomen in the stomach area. Here you will find where your self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem emotions lay.

Heart Chakra – Is our ability to love. It’s located at the c enter of chest just above heart. This is where your love, joy, and inner peace lay.

Throat Chakra – Is our ability to communicate. It’s located in the throat. Here is where your communication, self-expression of feelings, the truth emotions lay.

Third Eye Chakra – Is our ability to focus on and see the big picture. It’s located in the forehead between the eyes. Here is where your intuition, imagination, wisdom, ability to think and make decisions emotions lay.

Crown Chakra – Is the highest Chakra represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually. It’s located at the very top of the head. Here is where your inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality, pure bliss emotions lay.

Can I start off by saying, this all interests me. Also I know a lot of this also has to do with yoga, which sadly I have not even tried yet! But again, I am interested, I want to learn and try! Things such as this are things I promised myself I would learn and practice this year. Wish me luck!

Hair ♥ Lurv

I don’t mean to be a Miley Cyrus posting freak, but I had to share this!

”Never felt more me in my whole life. If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else’s.” – Miley Cyrus.

I love this quote! And I feel exactly the same. Obviously I get talked about or looks a lot when it comes to my hair. I always have and I expect I always will, which I am fine with. I even told my HUSBO after I got this haircut that I never felt more me! I feel so great with this style, as I did with my array of funk hair colors. This is one hairstyle I will be keeping for a long time. Also, before one million other people asks if I know who Skrillex is, I didn’t until I got this cut. I saw it on a model in a magazine and then Miley Cyrus started wearing this beautiful side swept look that (for once) I couldn’t recreate.

I thought this was fabulous and decided sometime this year (2012) I am getting my head shaved, after my HUSBO comes home. I didn’t want to get it done and freak him out when he first saw me after 10 months! Of course, he is the only one who doesn’t like it. But like he says, “it’s your hair, so what you want.” BUT mainly it is because I wanted it done, not because of a celebrity, although it seems that way… To be truthful, I don’t know who the model I saw the look on or the magazine I saw it in. I have always wanted to shave my head somehow, in seriousness and in hatred for my bad hair day.

photoLove you side shave!

Currently my hair is short… ick. It needs to grow faster! But since a dye screw up at the salon my hair needed a cut! It is bob-length right now… Haven’t had it this short in 9/10 years! YIKES! Hurry up and grow….

Dear Miley Cyrus, I Love You ♥

7 Feb

Yesterday I purchased a Cosmopolitan magazine with Miley Cyrus on the cover.

Those who know me, know I love Miley Cyrus as well as when she was Hannah Montana. She is scandalous, I love her music and her “way of life.” She is out there and I love that especially about her. This was by the far the best interview from her I have ever read! Thank you for the great read Cosmo! The answers she gave made me laugh and smile. The way she lives her life now a days is exactly what I want to be. If that makes sense… Not the celebrity lifestyle, but  I feel like the way she lives is what I’ve been striving for… For awhile now. Obviously everyone grows over their lifetime and I feel like I am finally just now starting to become what I’ve always wanted. I am so close yet so far away!

I love her free spirit, her wild ways, her loud mouth and opinions. I am the same in a lot of ways, but I tend to keep a lot of that to myself or choose not to act out in fear of embarrassing my family or friends. My HUSBO always tells me I should feel free to act the way I want and I shouldn’t care what others think. My response is always “I don’t care what others think!” to which he says, “You do… I know you do. I know you better than you know yourself.” Which is very true… I have always been a unique individual and been made fun of, talked down to, or shamed for the things I do. I have been known to wear whatever I want when it is cool or not. I also am known to dye my hair a lot of radical colors, fully knowing people stare or talk bad about it. I am not one to be an attention seeker, but hey, everyone likes attention once in awhile. I did it because it was fun, it made me happy, and made me feel beautiful. In October of 2012 while in Hawaii I shaved one side of my head. Definitely my most risque hairstyle.

I love it and plan on keeping it for a long while!

Her interview was just great and worth a read if you’re in the mood.

That is why I am educating myself on the different cultures, remedies, thoughts, and lives that interest me. I will be come a better me everyday. I am very inspired lately and just want it more. I am also surrounding myself with positivity,  happiness with the ones I love and care for. I am trying more everyday not to whine or complain, which is nearly impossible haha. I am a chronic whiner, yikes! I am also working on not being so judgmental of others, not putting people down, being less mean about anything and everything. I want to be more spiritual, more outgoing, more everything! I want to be more me and I am inspired everyday to do so.
